Wine... Lake Garda Pizza...More Wine = Great Day!

Our b and b was supposed to be attached to our favorite Enoteca.. but it was across and down the street.. still a lovely entrance..
Only Peggy knew how to open the gate?!

On the way to Lake Garda,  why not stop at the best Valpolicella vineyard... unannounced? We had a great time with the 16 year old Mattheus conversing with Peggy in (IAHS)... Italo-Americano Hand Signals.  A great language of you know it.

Then off to Lake Garda with thoughts of taking the gondola to the top.  Over a 1 hour wait to get tickets,  then the wait on the gondola line... no thanks!  However,  it was the perfect time for lakeside pizza... and well loved eggplant parmigiana...no?

Then on to the scheduled winery visit.. which wasn't nearly as tasty.. eventhough the place,  and Paola, were splendid!

Alas,  packing and last room views... Good departure timing as Mont Blanc is overcast!  Views still spectacular even with clouds... You all know this feeling.. ciao bella!  Always time for one more gelato! Grom Rules!  And as we finish the 24 hours of travel logistics,  which many of you are overly familiar with..arriving safely home at 10:30 pm, we were treated with a spectacular view ... 492 Reaches Great Heights!

With almost perfect weather,  we knew today would be special with a gondola ride up to Mont Blanc.  49 euros per person ain't nothin as they say, but on the anniversary... nuf said! More oxygen please!  There were 2 stopping points,  a champagne production facility,  playgrounds,  herb gardens, hammocks,  giant telescopes, great restaurants and of course,  killer views. Mont Blanc Why Not!  Everybody's taking photos for everybody!  Nick Colonna's next climb? (There were people at the top)  Toast to a great start of 492! When we returned to our country estate,  it was time to relax! Great foot of the mountain location!  Lovely indoor/outdoor pool with mountain views!  I think she's relaxing!  Not sure everyone here enjoys the beautiful sunshine? What would your caption be?
