A wonderful final breakfast at our beloved Due Papaveri, and we were off on the nearly 6 hour drive to Lake Bled in Slovenia. We're staying at a super relaxing (are you picking up a vacation theme) and gourmet food bed and breakfast called Penzion Berc just 100 meters from the lake.
Seeing Jon and Ann, our dear traveling buddies, is always a highlight. We'll be spending the next 10 days here and through northern Italy's Valpolicella and Lake Como regions. We will be passing right by, and therefore stopping for a night, at the Hisa Franko restaurant... from Chef's Table season 2.
