We Love Being Back in Italy... but...
Breakfast at Hisa Franko was over the top. As should be expected.
As we departed Slovenia and hit Italy, the landscape changed radically from mountain canyons to fields of sunflowers!
Unfortunately, our rental car decided to act up and after much help in car maintenance Italian, and adding AdBleu to the diesel motor.. . Peggy and I still had to make a trip to the rental company at the local Verona airport, and we were off and running rather quickly.
Dinner at our local Osteria was delicious, and reminded us again of the simple glory of local Italian food, wine, fruit and grappa.
